Hello!
I'm Nikki - wild about animals and good soap.
Soap with Hope began back in 2015 as a way to help endangered or threatened animals and the habitats they live in. I love making soap. It is fun and rewarding, and I first began this when I discovered how many unsustainable products, particularly palm oil, were in commercial soaps and beauty products.
I wanted to be sure that what I was using was made with quality and sustainable ingredients, making skin-nourishing products that are free from harsh chemicals and detergents, while also being environmentally friendly once it goes down the drain.
I have my Bachelor’s degree in Zoology, and work on conservation projects at the University of Newcastle to help threatened frog species. I have a passion for helping animals in all areas of my life, and decided to link both my love for soap making and for animals together.
SwH has now grown to include a wide range of soap products. We have donated over $10,000 to endangered animals!
